Dr. Md. Shafiullah Prodhan is a distinguished physiotherapist with extensive expertise in rehabilitation medicine. His academic journey began with a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy from NITOR under Dhaka University’s Faculty of Medicine, followed by advanced studies including an MS in Disability and Rehabilitation from Bangladesh and a PhD from India focusing on comparative studies of back pain in urban and rural populations.

Beginning his career as a lecturer at Bangladesh Medical College in 2004, Dr. Md. Shafiullah Prodhan has built a remarkable career combining teaching, research, and clinical practice. He currently serves as an associate professor at the International Institute of Health Sciences (IIHS), where he continues to shape the next generation of physiotherapy professionals while maintaining an active clinical practice.
